Scene 1 Hi, For the new viewers of these videos clips, here is an introduction. Students at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of the West Indies at Mt. Hope Trinidad host an annual Divali function. Divali is a Hindu religious festival of lights THe highlight of the function is the play which is written, produced, directed and acted out by the students themselves. This year the play was Bhanumati: Granddaughter of Lord Krishna based on an ancient Hindu legend about a young woman's courageous choices in the face of obstacles and what happens subsequently.
