Xycle may not be quite as obscure as some of the other games on this list (it was featured on Free Indie Rapid Fire), however it never received the full front page attention on either The Indie Games Weblog or TIGSource, so I still believe it is well within underdog territory. Ride your bike, jump and shoot your way through a lovely, chunky, pixelated landscape. The game is split up by checkpoints and stages of the day, however it still remains a frustratingly difficult experience at times. http://scattleware.co.nr/
