This film explains that Social Firms are market-led businesses set up specifically to create good quality jobs for people severely disadvantaged in the labour market. The film was commissioned in 2008 by Social Firms UK, whose aim is to support Social Firms and encourage their development. Social Firms UK would like to thank Joanna Haslam and Nick O'Meally who made this film as part of the Volunteer Films scheme coordinated by Media Trust (www.mediatrust.org).
