György Ránki: King Pomádé (opera) Pomádé király új ruhája "The Emperor's New Clothes" is a tale by Andersen JÓZSEF GREGOR * "The Emperor's New Clothes" (Kejserens nye Klæder) is a fairy tale by Danish poet and author Hans Christian Andersen about an emperor who unwittingly hires two swindlers to create a new suit of clothes for him. In 1953 (later adapted in 1972), Hungarian composer György Ránki made a kid opera named 'King Pomádés New Clothes'.
