Did I make this video just to play with the special effects? Maybe I'm lazy. If I wanted to know if God existed I'd just look up at the ceiling and say, "Which God ARE you?" And that's just what I did when I was 13. Then when I was 14, I was nagged for three years in Latin class by a born-again Christian, and when 17 while waiting for basketball to start, I finished Camus' L'Etranger. That book was so depressing I decided that life apart from God was pointless. That fall I knowingly believed in Christ. Little did I know that my mother evangelized me when I was 4 or 6 years old (according to her story). Now for you intellectual types, I offer an off-the-beaten track approach to if-God-exists analysis which worked for me. Universal truth, Absolute Truth independently exists because math is its mechanism for deployment. What we call "math" is really the independent existence of truths which have uncannily similar principles no matter whether you are looking at physics, biology, economics or how to shop for dinner. These principles have neither mass nor energy properties, so are immaterial. Video walks you through the rest of the short construct, while I experimented on-screen with Windows Movie Maker Video effects. (Be sure to try Hue plus Sepia, Posterize and Threshold: the order in which you rank the effects changes the effects on the picture. Go by the basic shape of the picture, array the effects and you'll get something completely different. The cup you see in the video is actually the picture of a stellar map table where alleged aliens live. But you can't tell, due to the special effects.) Seriously: you don't need to agonize over this if-God question. Just look up at the ceiling and ask. You won't get dreams or visions, you'll get your conceptual dots connected, then you will KNOW God exists; then He makes you prove it independently, lol. Because then you know how to read the empirical data. Again, you first must see the picture on the puzzle box before you can analyze the pieces. Top-down, baby. So go to the Top, ask God if He exists. Save time and angst: you got too much to get done, right? If you're truly masochistic, I went through 14 reasoning patterns which are not like anyone else's I can find, in http://www.brainout.net/Godindex.html . The last half of that page goes through what I consider the ONLY valid criterion for determining WHICH God is God, once you're sure "deity" exists: JUSTICE. For the Real God would provide 100% justice to Himself. And therefore, to all He creates. Because, He has to see it forever. When you finish evaluating the JUSTICE criterion, there will be only One Definition which qualifies as God. No, you don't get brownie points for guessing in advance Who that is. Do your own homework, anyway. It pays to understand WHY God is God, versus the bizillion counterfeit pretenders 'out there'. :)
