Conference House Park is home to the southernmost point in New York State and can be called ©South New York or Lands End. A bit tousled from a storm last winter this area has a natural beauty and a peaceful almost spiritual ambience. After a brisk walk or jog, one would find it hard to believe that they were not in New England or the like. Exact due south is where the lower pond empties into the bay under a tiny footbridge and where a mini lighthouse stands guard nearby.
