The Panhellenic Sun Symbol The so called "Vergina Sun" was in use at least back in 8th century bC. We can see it on Acropolis, we can see it at the temple of Theseus (Theseion) buildt in 8th century bC, we can see it in coins, we can see it everywhere in Greece.
