Canadian Snowbirds 2009 NAS Oceana Airshow Naval Air Station Oceana Virginia Beach, Virginia Saturday October 17, 2009 IN THIS VIDEO, you are going to see the shortest Snowbirds video I will ever upload. Because of the low clouds, the first three Snowbirds took to the skies to do a weather check, and it was deemed that their show would be a no-go. They made one pass before landing - the landing is not shown in this video. Also, Bill Leff had his T-6 parked where the Snowbirds would park, and caused quite a stir with the team when it was almost impossible to move the plane (it got moved, but at the expense of cases of cold beverages!). This would be the only time the Snowbirds would fly all weekend... if you want to count this as them flying... I apologize for any bad color and/or vertical lines that may or may not be in this video. Once again, I have had some camera trouble throughout the weekend. It was also very windy, but I think I did well with the camera concerning the fact that it was, for the most part, cold, rainy, and windy for the entire weekend.
