Video Description: We decided to make this video a kind of tribute to the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast (not the cartoonsorry) and picked movies/shows/couples accordingly (so please no shipper bashing; the couples were picked because of the theme of the video; so some of the choices arent conventional). The inspiration for the video comes from the end of the new Smallville episode Bride with the characters Chloe and Davis/Doomsday as he carried her into the Fortress with this same song playing (which is why we show them the most in the video). We loved the imagery of Doomsday carrying Chloe into the fortress (best thing Smallvilles ever done in our opinion) and how the scene paid homage to the famous scene when the Beast carries Belle/Beauty into his castle in the Jean Cocteaus classic La Belle et La Bete. So, we decided to pay our own homage to a few of the films/shows/couples that have portrayed this beautiful story in their own way. Sometimes, the story doesnt always end with the Beast becoming the Prince, but then again some of the stories do! We included characters who feel like monsters within based on what they look like, who they are (vampires, aliens, demons, werewolves, etc), or even metaphorically because they have a darkness inside of them. We showed a lot of the Beast characters wanting Beauty to save them. And we showed a lot of the Beauty characters being fascinated by the Beast. They see the beauty and humanity in what others might only see a monster. And yes, sometimes the girl can be the Beast type character and the guy can be Beauty! And maybe even a few characters have a bit of both in them; Neither Beauty or the Beast (figuratively speaking) want to lose the love of the other one. Well anyway, we hope you enjoy it! Song: Dont Take Your Love Away by Vast Movies/TV Shows/Characters/Actors in the order of their first appearance: 1)Smallville: Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) and Davis Bloome/Doomsday (Sam Witwer); Chlavis/Chlovis/Chloom 2)Moonlight: Mick St. John (Alex OLoughlin) and Beth Turner (Sophia Myles); Mickbeth 3)Twilight: Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) 4)Roswell: Max Evans (Jason Behr) and Liz Parker (Shiri Appleby) 5)Edward (Johnny Depp) and Kim (Winona Ryder); 6)Penelope: Max/Johnny (James McAvoy) and Penelope (Christina Ricci) 7)Let the right one in: Oskar ( Kare Hedebrant) and Eli (Lina Leandersson) 8)Spiderman III: Mary Jane (MJ) (Kirsten Dunst) and Harry (James Franco) 9)Hellboy: (Ron Perlman) and Liz Sherman (Selma Blair) 10)Charmed: Cole (Julian McMahon) and Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano) 11)La Belle et La Bete (The Beauty and the Beast; 1946) : Belle (Josette Day) and the Beast/Prince (Jean Marais); Jean Cocteau film; 12)King Kong: Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) and Kong (Andy Serkis) 13)Blood and Chocolate: Vivian (Agnes Bruckner) and Aiden (Hugh Dancy) 14)The Phantom of the Opera: Phantom (Gerard Butler) and Christine (Emmy Rossum) 15)The Incredible Hulk: Bruce Banner (Ed Norton) Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) 16)Robin Hood (BBC): Guy of Gisborne (Richard Armitage) and Marian (Lucy Griffiths) 17)Angel: Doyle (Glenn Quinn) and Cordelia/Cordy (Charisma Carpenter) 18)Blood Ties: Henry Fitzroy (Kyle) and Vicki Nelseon (Christina Cox)
