Ebony's Dr. Bronner's Soap Mix: 2 oz. of my fav essential oils, 2 oz. Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Magic Soap, and 14 oz. of distilled water Cathy Howse states in her book that every conditioner should contain 3 things: protein for strengthening, oils for lubrication and a stimulant for hair growth. I cannot afford to purchase her conditioner, but in the 1st edition of her book, before she developed her own conditioner she provided a recipe for a deep conditioner. The recipe is: 16 oz. of a protein/reconstructor conditioner, 8 oz. EVOO, 4 oz. EVCO, 2 tsps. of peppermint oil. I currently use conditioners that contain all three ingredients (listed in video).
