Talbot said it best in the post game: "We could have lost 12-0, who cares? A loss is a loss." Well said. Maybe it 's an easier loss than a 2-1 OT loss. Maybe it's what is needed to refocus on game 6. Maybe such a lopsided game will give that extra fire for the Pens in Game 6. They've got 2 days off to get past this game. Chants of "Crosby sucks" started. Not a great idea, Wings fans. Ask the Flyers fans why. Go back to your end of game sing-a-longs and standing and turning to look at the cameras. This definitely isn't over yet. Any Wings fan that says so is crazy for thinking that. The Pens definitely defeated themselves tonight. Not to take away from Detroit, but you can't take those penalties against them. It just can't happen. And I managed to post this recap without once mentioning how bad NBC sucks. Oops.
