We had a rather warm day. Bees never actually hibernate, they are simply less active when it gets colder and more active on days when it is warmer. We reached almost 63 degrees today after snow and repeated days of 35 degree highs with 19 degree lows. All six hives at the time of this video were active and appeared to all have heavy populations.
