ANIME: Munto tv Sora o Miageru Shōjo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai MUSIC: The Climb (Miley Cyrus - Hannah Montana The Movie Sountrack) NUMBER OF CLIPS: 160 to 165 DATE CREATED: 02/2009 The AMV History of The Climb, At the end of February I found the anime tv series Munto, All I could say was WOW The animation was beautiful the character designs were cool and the way the series combined fantasy with sci-fi was amazing the main character Yumemi Hidaka was fascinating to me. Yumemi is high school student that has a problem she see's a floating island in the sky, the only thing that keeps her sanity are her friends Ichiko and Suzume who stand by Yumemi. Yumemi also coats with the problem by always carrying an umbrella wherever she goes. This AMV is all about her and the struggles that she deals with not only with seeing the island but that she also finds out that she is destined to save the world she is a true anime heroine!!! The Song came into the fold because just hearing it made me think of Yumemi the words "My faith is shaking" was a brilliant explanation of Yumemi's character and lyrics like "Ain't about what's waiting on the other side" the story is about her dealing with two worlds and being caught between them with almost every lyric of the song I could tell you about it matching up with this series and character. The song itself came from My little niece loving Miley Cyrus and the fact that It kept waking me up in my alarm clock. Now don't get me wrong Munto has some faults as well the science fiction point of view is very over complicated, and Yumemi's storyline is a tad bid over dramatized but the action of the series helps balance it out and even with only 9 episodes Munto the TV series has way then more then enough to create tons of AMVs. For anyone who has just began to create AMVs I recomend This seires, theres so much great footage that can be used! Well I hope everyone enjoys it!!!!!!
